Dashcam Recordings Overview

This article will describe how to access MasTrack Dashcam's Live & Historical camera recordings from the Map
For instructions on how to view their tracking location data click hereTo view Live camera footage, from the Map go to Devices, then select the desired camera's device card:To view Live & Historical footage the Status icon must display a Green checkmark. If it is not a Green checkmark then the device does not currently have a data connection, and cannot upload footage. 

To view Live footage:

1- From the device card menu, select the View icon, which displays a black circle with a white arrow image which will open the following menu:

2 - Select the channel you wish to view. By default, the channels are labelled Front View (front facing camera) and Driver View (inward facing camera), however they can be renamed using the pencil edit icons to the right.

Available Time, displayed on the bottom, shows how much total view time you have left this month. Each device provides 1 hour of view time per month. The Available Time displayed on the bottom is the available viewing time for ALL of your cameras left this month. 

Once the channel is selected, click View to begin a live feed from the selected camera channel. Viewing time will be deducted from your Available Time as it is used. After 1 minute of viewing, the feed will pause, and ask if you want to continue. If you continue you can select how long before the feed pauses again, from between 1 and 10 minutes until the next pause

To View Historical Camera Footage:

There are two methods of viewing Historical Camera Footage

Method 1 - From Device Card Menu

1 - From the device card menu, select the History icon, which shows a black and white calendar image which will open the following menu:

2 - Select a date from the calendar from which you wish to see available recordings. Available recordings will be displayed in the list on the right side. Channel 1 recordings are for the Front Camera, Channel 2 is for Rear or other Camera. 

3 - Select the desired recording, then click View to begin streaming the recorded video. Note, this will use your Available Time.

Method 2 - From Tracking Points on the Map

1 - With the device card selected, click Timeline, and select a Date or Date Range of GPS tracking data to view on the map. 

2 -  Select Extra Points on the bottom center of the map

3 - Find the desired tracking point on the Map. Clicking the point will open a menu for the point. At the bottom of the point menu, select Play Video

4 - Play Video will open the recorded trips menu, displaying in the list the recording for the trip that the selected point was part of. From there, select the desired Channel and click View to begin streaming the recording for that trip. Note, this will use your Available Time.


The camera memory holds approximately 30 days of recordings, thought this will vary based on number and duration of records, and the selected image quality of recordings.
